Beam junk robot
.
With all the scrap parts laying around my work bench, I just decided to make a beam junk bot. So I did, and it turns out the 3V solar panel really makes the motor run. Unlike my other solar vibrobots at least. Check out the video above to see it in action!

New robot can differentiate textures
.
If we pick up a brick, we can feel thats it's texture is rough. Unlike humans, most robots can't tell the difference between textures of objects. Unless your robot developed at USC Viterbi School of Engineering. For example, there studies have made robotic fingers have the capability of telling the difference of an object's texture. In the video below they talk about their experiments. One of which includes testing 117 different textures with their robotic finger. Thanks for reading and check out the video below to learn more about this robotic's technology!

New Spytank Robot Developed by Brookstone
.
While I was at the mall the other day, I stopped by Brookstone to look around. I saw Hexbugs and little moving toys. However, one product really caught my eye. It was called the "Rover App-Controlled Spy Tank." It's equipped with a camera (night vision too), microphone, and tank treads for superb mobility. The tank is controlled via wifi with most iDevices. In the app store there is a free app that lets you control this robot. The range controlling this bot is pretty amazing too. If your in an area with no walls then you can control it up to 200 feet away. With walls in the way, you can still control it up to 100 feet away. This all seems amazing, but it has a price tag of $100.00. If your still interested in buying this robot then take a trip to your local Brookstone. Thanks for reading and check out the demo video above to see it spy!

New facial expression robot
.
Hello readers and fans! I am back from my vacation, and I have a new bot to tell you about. It began Yesterday when I got out my vex kit and started to build a robot. I was thinking of what type of bot to build until I remembered Kismet. So a few hours passed by, and my robot was completed with eyes, eyebrow, a mouth, and one arm. I don't have a name for it, but for now I just call it "a robot." Thanks for reading and check out the video above to see it in action!
